Life it is!!!!

Fall in love or fall in hate...
Get inspired or be depressed...
Ace a test or flunk a class...
Make babies or make art...
Speak the truth or lie and cheat...
Dance on tables or sit in the corner...
Life is divine chaos...
Embrace it... forgive yourself... Breathe and
ENJOy the RIDE...

NITS MUN

NITSMUN has introduced me to an amazing world that i am never gonna leave. I remember my first MUN experience like it was yesterday. Standing before me were smart, confident and diplomatic people that made me feel nervous and scared. When i got up to speak, i was feeling scared.. so i just read off a piece of paper. I was shaking and could not make an eye. But with time being passed  and coming to know maximum were first timers i also grew confidence in  myself....
Our chair and vice chair were damn cool and best part was that they were of our age.So there was not much problem in interaction....

The first informal session was also fun. There only i fell for my vice chair yar... She was very sweet,  kind and beautiful. The next day i indirectly proposed her and ya got 4 flying kisses too...made my day...

MUN has now become an inseparable part of my life. I am still have nightmares about MUN!! it had a huge impact on me believe me

Though on first day I did not spoke much but in the second session I did participate. I spoke to a few delegates I had already talked to, we agreed on similar points and decided to work together to create a working paper. We wrote a pretty good paper by session's end and ya I even gave a speech on 2nd day like everyone without hesitation. It was nerve-wrecking and I wanted to throw up, but I did it, and I realized it really wasn't all that bad (most people weren't even watching either lol). I did not win an award that day, but what I got out of that day was far more valuable than any award could ever be.
I learned to get over my fears and anxieties, to try even if I fail, and to participate in committee because I have a lot to contribute. It was a bit overwhelming at first, you never know what's going to happen, but once you jump in and participate it's a lot easier and everything you prepared for falls into place.
Just beware! You may become addicted to MUN after your first time trust me :)

#my choice

I am a staunch believer of feminism, and advocate it always. But this? No. This is not empowering, this is a bail, an excuse to do what you will. I respect women for all the great reasons in the world.. but the recent ‪#‎mychoice‬ video was just a disgrace for women and  humanity!! It was more like a viral seeking video.... I respect women for their self respect, being feminine and the motherly manner!! But not for those fickle messages in that video.. I repeat its a disgrace!
In this video the protagonist believes that if she is not questioned on any of her choices then it would apparently liberate her spirit . I believe this is a sheer immature and disillusioned take on ‘Women  Empowerment’ . Not being open to criticism on one’s own action (be it a male or female) or decision is a very exclusive approach and probably an elitist one at that. Empowering  women has to be more inclusive where a lot of external factors will have to play together to hand enough power to women which is equivalent to any other gender .This should enable woman to fend off self-righteous chauvinists  . All this cannot be done if one is not open to criticism . To realise such paradigm shifts external dynamics such as educators, awareness builders, media , colleagues , friends, families etc has to be consulted and one should not be frivolously arrogant. The issue lies at the grassroot level of upbringing/education/implementation of laws etc. Women liberation , in my opinion , has nothing to do with freedom of promiscuity or right to late night rave parties as indicated in the video.

Trust me after watching that video, the number of pseudo feminists are going too damn high.

This one for instance(#copied example with a bit of modification)

Mother to teenage daughter - Get up and study, exam hai na aaj?

Daughter - Whether I get up or not, #MyChoice. Whether I study or not #MyChoice. Whether I answer my exam or not, #MyChoice. Remember, books and classes are temporary. I am not. I may choose to attend my classes or skip them and go to a pub. To use books and pens to trap my soul is to believe you can halt the expansion of the universe. Whether I go to college or not, #MyChoice. My failure may be your pain. I may choose to be a drop-out or not. #MyChoice.

Mother - Are you out of your mind?

Daughter - You should see this feminist video Mom, it will change your life.

Mother - (After seeing the video). Give me your cell phone. Also, I am going to give away all your clothes to charity and am renting out your room from the first of next month. You are welcome to stay if you want, but please be prepared to pay rent.

Daughter - Why?

Mother - #MyChoice!

Leave all this... ;)

Deepika Padukone is my favourite actress. I respect her a lot. But after watching this i was like "has she lost it..." Just for promotion of her upcoming film she did this...

I seriously don't understand why Deepika suddenly start caring about women when her movies are round the corner! You make a video so that it reaches millions of girls wherein you open your bra straps and convey the message that cheating is a choice? Before making a choice, you gotta think about its consequences and take the responsibility of it. Size, Sexual preferences, Clothes is not goddamn feminism! Feminism is a term inculcated to bring about gender equality and not to prefer women over men. Grow up. You created heck of a controversy over the so-called "cleavage-row" and god knows this video is gonna fetch you so many "admirers" over facebook and twitter.

What an irony that the video ends with the logo of Vogue and probably it will be bigger winner given the number of people who would subscribe this magazine over the next week. Can you just imagine the outrage that would have sparked had all this "so-called choices" would have been associated with a man? I am dead sure that feminazis like you would have been the first ones to condemn it. What this video is doing is merely telling a whole generation of women to grow up in a bimbo culture—women can be comfortable with the choices they have made, as long as they fit the stereotypical definition of beauty and conform to the latest fashion trends. If you actually want to do something for women, work for them and fight for their rights, rather than promoting "sex outside marriage is cool"phenomenon.

"Freedom and empowerment is not something that can be sold through the glossy pages of a magazine. It can only come through experience and self knowledge."
